Down East Hot Buttered Rum

2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 piece lemon peel
1 cup apple cider
Small pat butter
4 cloves
2 oz Bacardi Gold Reserve
Cinnamon stick
Ground Nutmeg

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. In a warmed, heat-proof mug, add sugar and a little cider that has been heated to the boiling point.
|
2. Stir until sugar is dissolved and add cinnamon, cloves, lemon peel, and rum.
|
3. Fill with hot cider, stir, and top with butter and ground nutmeg.
