Cassava Puffs
What You Need:
  • 1 pound sweet cassava
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • How To Cook:
    1. Peel cassavas and boil until tender with some salt. Crush whilst still hot.

    2. Add margarine, baking powder and beaten egg and beat.

    3. Drop by spoonfuls into muffin tins which have been greased.

    4. Bake for 15 minutes in hot oven. Puffs may also be fried.
