What You Need: |

6 nearly dry corn on cob ears
1 cup brown sugar
1 dry coconut
½ cup raisins
2 tablespoons spice
Salt, ginger powder

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Grate corn and coconut. Mix coconut with water to make 2 cups of cream.
|
2. Add this liquid to remaining ingredients to make a paste.
|
3. Spoon into squares of banana leaf which have been dipped into boiling water briefly to make pliable. Tie into parcels.
|
4. Place in boiling water and steam for ¾ of an hour.
