Pot Roast
What You Need:
  • A four-pound cut of beef without bone
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons salt sprig of thyme
  • 2 stalks scallions
  • 2 medium onions
  • Water
  • 2 oz beef salt

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine salt, pepper, thyme, scallions and beef salt.

    2. Pierce meat and fill with the mixture of seasoning. Tie to keep in shape. Leave overnight.

    3. Heat a large dutch pot. Pour in oil and allow to heat.

    4. Put in beef and brown on all sides.

    5. Pour in half cup of water at a time and allow cooking slowly over low heat until meet is fully cooked.

    6. Allow approximately 2 - 3 hours of cooking time.

    7. When soft, season gravy and add onions and heat until cooked.

    8. Cool meat and slice. Serve gravy on slices.
