Stewed Fish With Onion

What You Need: |

|
3˝ pounds red snapper, cod, turbot, or haddock
1˝ cups water
˝ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika, or to taste
˝ teaspoon cayenne
2 cups sliced onions

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Cut the fish in to six serving pieces.
|
2. Put water, oil, seasonings, and onions in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.
|
3. Add fish and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
|
4. Serve with Rice Pilaf.
