What You Need: |

1 pound eye of round or sirloin tip roast
˝ teaspoon salt
Pinch of sugar
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 stalk lemongrass, white part only, very thinly sliced
4 tablespoons nuoc mam (fish sauce)

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Slice the beef into long thin strips across the grain.
|
2. Place the meat in a bowl with the remaining ingredients and marinate for 1 hour.
|
3. Place on wooden or bamboo skewers and barbecue to taste.
|
4. A few minutes on both sides over high heat should do. Don't overcook!
