Couscous Without A Couscousier

What You Need: |

|
1 pound couscous, not quick-cooking
2˝ cups boiling water
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons butter or Ghee
|

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Place the couscous in a large bowl and add the boiling water and salt. Let the couscous rest a few minutes to expand.
|
2. In a 12-inch frying pan, heat the butter or Ghee and couscous. Cover and cook over medium heat, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
|
3. Be careful not to burn the couscous. Turn off the heat and let stand covered a few minutes.
