Crisp Laver
(Seaweed)
What You Need:
  • 10 sheets laver (found in any Japanese or Korean food store)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • How To Cook:
    1. Spread the sheets one at a time on a board, brush with sesame oil, then sprinkle lightly with salt.

    2. Put the sheets on a grill or griddle or in a skillet over low heat and cook for a few seconds till crisp.

    3. Cut each sheet into 4 or 6 pieces, and serve piled on small plates.

    4. These laver pieces are usually eaten wrapped around rice, but some people like them as they are.
