This dish is easy to prepare and makes a great change from potatoes.

5 -6 medium-ripe plantains (but it can be any count)

How To Cook: |

1. Choose medium-ripe plantains and peel them.
|
2. Slice them lengthwise and pan-fry them in butter or oil over medium-low heat so that they brown lightly and are tender.

3. Some people deep-fry plantains, but some prefer them pan-fried.
