Salmon In Miso
What You Need:
  • 2 pounds fresh salmon steaks or fillets
  • ½ cup light miso
  • Pinch of MSG (optional)
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup sake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Place the steaks in a bowl large enough for marinating. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients.

    2. Marinate the steaks in this mixture for about 2 hours at room temperature, or in the refrigerator overnight.

    3. Grill or broil until done to your own taste.

    NOTE:
        You can make this recipe with any other rich-tasting fish such as black cod (sable).
