What You Need: |

2 medium conch, cleaned and skin removed
½ small sweet pepper
1 small onion
1 stalk celery
1 egg
1 cup milk or ½ cup evaporated milk and ½ cup water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon baking powder
1¼ cups flour
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon salt
COCKTAIL SAUCE
½ cup catsup or bottled cocktail sauce
½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon hot sauce

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put conch, sweet pepper, onion and celery through a meat grinder.
|
2. Add remaining ingredients to make a batter.
|
3. Drop by tablespoon into hot fat and fry for approximately 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
|
4. Serve with cocktail sauce.

|
1. Mix and serve.
