Fish Stew
What You Need:
  • 2½ pounds grouper fillet or fish of choice cut in serving portions
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon thyme
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 6 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • How To Cook:
    1. Heat oil in heavy skillet; blend in flour and brown well, stirring constantly to avoid burning.

    2. Add onion, thyme, tomato paste, and tomato sauce; mix well.

    3. Heat 6 cups water to boiling; add flour mixture and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    4. Add fish, salt and pepper; cook for 20 to 30 minutes, or until fish is tender.
