Guava Butter
What You Need:
  • Ripe guavas (whatever number desired)
  • Sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Wash and cut guavas in half, using a pointed teaspoon remove seeds. Cut into pieces and place in a pot.

    2. Add water until you can see it between the guava pieces. Cook over moderate heat until tender.

    3. Strain and sieve. Measure pulp and add equal measurements of sugar.

    4. Add lime juice to taste, if desired. Cook until mixture is thick, stirring frequently to prevent scorching.
