Jerk Pork
What You Need:
  • 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 3 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup jerk sauce

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cut pork shoulder into two pieces.

    2. Using a butcher knife, make cuts 1 inch apart and 1/8 to ¼ inch deep.

    3. This will help the marinade soak into the roast. Place in a shallow pan.

    4. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

    5. Rub sauce over pork.

    6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    7. Preheat barbecue to 300°F.

    8. Slow cook pork until meat is brown and tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until meat thermometer inserted into meat reaches 160°F.

    9. To serve, cut pork into 1 inch cubes.
