How To Cook: |

1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend in corn meal.

2. Combine egg, milk and butter or margarine.
|
3. Make a well in centre of dry ingredients and odd the egg mixture.
|
4. Stir until blended. Pour into greased 8 inch square cake pan.
|
5. Bake in preheated 375°F oven for 23 - 30 minutes.
|
6. Serve hot with butter, jelly, honey or preserves.
