Rum Cake
What You Need:
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 beaten eggs
¼
teaspoon
salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
3 cups flour
Mixed spices
¼ cup milk
¼ cup molasses
2 cups peanuts (crushed)
1 pound raisins
½
cup
rum
Pinch of soda
How To Cook:

. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.

. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and spices. Add this to butter mixture and blend.

. Add milk, soda and molasses, and add lastly crushed nuts, raisins and rum.

. Bake in a loaf
tin
300°F for 2 hours.
