How To Cook: |

1. Cream shortening and butter or margarine until well blended.
|
2. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add baking powder and milk; mix.
|
3. Then odd flour and just enough water to hold dough together; and knead until stiff enough to rollout.
|
4. Divide into 4 pieces. Rollout each piece to fit the pan. Yield two 9 inch double-crust pies or four single-crust pies.

NOTE:

This recipe can be cut in half to make one double crust pie or two single-crust pies.
