Hot Salad Dressing
An old-time favorite dressing for coleslaw, mixed green, and cooked vegetable salads.

What You Need:
  • 6 thin slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • Salt, pepper to taste

  • How To Cook:
    1. Fry bacon in a medium skillet until crisp.

    2. Remove bacon and drain on paper toweling.

    3. Spoon out some of bacon grease leaving 3 tablespoons grease in skillet.

    4. Combine remaining ingredients and add to heated grease.

    5. Cook over low heat, stirring, until thickened and smooth.

    6. Add to salad and sprinkle with bacon.

    To Make: about 1˝ cups
