Baked Noodles
(Lapsha)
What You Need:
  • ½ pound noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 dessertspoon melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water, drain and put them in a buttered fireproof dish.

    2. Pour over the cup of cream and bake in a very slow oven (lowest possible setting) until most of the cream has evaporated.

    3. Then mix in the beaten egg, melted butter and salt.

    4. Cover with the grated cheese and bake in a moderate oven (375°F) until well browned; if preferred, brown under a grill.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
