Nillon Gateau
What You Need:
  • 1 pound shortcrust pastry
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 cup nillon (crushed nut kernels from which oil has been removed)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoons jam
  • 1 cup milk
  • ˝ cup nut oil
  • 1 cup water

  • How To Cook:
    1. Line a round tin with the pastry.

    2. Grate the nillon finely, mix it with the liquids and add the remaining ingredients.

    3. Cover the pastry with the nutty mixture and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for about 40 minutes.

    To Make: 1 cake
