1 can (14 ounces) hearts of palm, drained and cut into ¼-inch slices
1 medium-sized ripe avocado, peeled and diced
1 small head leafy lettuce, washed, dried, torn into bite-size pieces, and chilled
1/3 cup olive oil
2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon dried basil
Salt, pepper to taste
1 large tomato, peeled and cut into wedges

How To Cook: |

1. Combine hearts of palm, avocado, and lettuce in a salad bowl.
|
2. Mix oil, lemon juice, basil, salt, and pepper; pour over salad; toss.
|
3. Serve at once garnished with tomatoes.
