What You Need: |

4 conchs
1 cup flour, seasoned with salt, pepper, thyme and 1 teaspoon baking powder OR cracker crumbs OR bread crumbs
2 eggs
˝ cup milk
Oil for frying
Lime slices for garnish

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Tenderize conchs with a hammer until sinews are shredded and conch is double in size.
|
2. Dredge each piece in seasoned flour.
|
3. Combine eggs and milk.
|
4. Dip conchs into milk mixture and dredge again in flour.
|
5. Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
|
6. Serve with lime slices and hot sauce, if desired.
