How To Cook: |

1. Wash spinach and chop finely, turn into a bowl and rub salt in with the fingers.

2. Chop onions finely.
|
3. Drain water from the spinach and squeeze dry, then mix with onions, lemon juice and oil.
|
4. Roll the bread dough very thin, cut in rounds and fill with the spinach mixture, closing up to form a turnover.
|
5. Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until brown.
|
6. Chopped walnuts may be added to the filling if desired.
