What You Need: |

˝ cup butter
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 cup caster sugar
2 cups flour
3 ripe bananas
A pinch of salt
4 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 tablespoons sour milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

How To Cook: |

|
1. Cream the butter and sugar; add the mashed bananas, the eggs and the milk with the soda dissolved in it.
|
2. Add the remaining ingredients and beat well.
|
3. Put into a greased tin and bake in a moderate oven (350°F).
|
4. Open the oven door and allow the cake to cool there before taking it out.
