Beef And Broad Bean Stew

What You Need: |

|
4 tablespoons oil
1 pound beef, cut up
¾ pound broad beans
6 cloves of garlic
Salt
1 teaspoon coriander seed

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the beef until brown on all sides.
|
2. Add the broad beans, garlic, coriander seed and salt to taste, cover with hot water, put the lid on and cook in a slow oven (300°F) for 4 hours.
|
3. To serve, pour into a dish the liquor and the broad beans (which will have cooked almost to a puree) and arrange the pieces of meat on top.
|
4. This may be served with rice pilaf or a puree of potatoes.
