How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Cut some unripe figs in half, cover with water and boil until soft.
|
2. Pour off the liquid and boil it up with sugar in the proportion of 2 cups sugar to 1 cup liquid-continue until syrupy.
|
3. Pour over the figs and leave till next day.
|
4. Boil the figs in the syrup till transparent and leave for 2 days in the syrup, then take out and roll them in sugar.
