Groundnut Soup
(Ful Soup)
What You Need:
  • 1 pound fresh peanuts
  • Flour
  • 2 teacups milk
  • Stock
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Cream, if liked

  • How To Cook:
    1. Shell and clean the nuts, place in the oven and when slightly roasted take out and leave to cool.

    2. Remove the brown skin, blanch the nuts, and then grind them very finely.

    3. Mix with a little flour and the milk, and then add the mixture to some good stock.

    4. Season to taste and slowly bring to the boil.

    5. Add the butter and a little cream before serving.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
