What You Need: |

1 cup sugar
¾ cup milk
4 oz shortcrust pastry
1 coconut
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg white

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Grate the coconut flesh.
|
2. Beat the egg white, add dry ingredients and butter and mix in the milk.
|
3. Line a 7-inch pie plate with pastry, pour in the coconut mixture and bake in a moderately hot oven (425°F) till brown and set.
