Grilled Skewered Beef
What You Need:
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 1 pound sirloin of beef cut in ¾-inch slices
  • 1/3 cup soya sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 small jar of small stuffed olives
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

  • How To Cook:
    1. Drain the juice from the pineapple and mix with the soya sauce, garlic and ginger; add the beef and let it stand for 1 hour.

    2. Cut the beef into ¾-inch cubes.

    3. Place alternate pieces of beef and pineapple on wooden skewers and put an olive at the end of each skewer.

    4. Grill, turning once, for 10-12 minutes.

    5. This is a dish of Japanese origin.

    To Make: about 2 dozen; allow 2-3 per person
