How To Cook: |

1. Boil some water in a large saucepan and put in some beef, in large pieces, a boiling fowl, some whole corn cobs, thickly sliced carrots, leeks, chick peas, Spanish-type sausages and a good-sized piece of boiling bacon.

2. Season to taste (according to the saltiness of the bacon).
|
3. Cook for at least 3 hours over a low heat.
|
4. About 20 minutes before serving add some potatoes and cook until these are done.
|
5. Serve with cabbage.
