Brazilian - Style Liver
What You Need:
  • 1 pound lambs' or calves' liver
  • Pepper
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • Fat for frying
  • Boiled rice
  • ¼ pint vinegar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Slice the liver thinly and marinade it overnight in the vinegar with the garlic and pepper.

    2. Slice the onions and fry them in hot fat until brown.

    3. Take them out and keep hot while the liver is fried on both sides.

    4. Take this out also and pour the strained vinegar into the pan.

    5. When it is simmering and almost boiling, add the liver.

    6. Dish the liver up on the boiled rice with the onions and pour the sauce over.

    To Serve: 4 - 6
