How To Cook: |

1. Place the fat in a saucepan and saute the chopped onions.

2. When brown add the chopped green pepper and the minced beef, pressing this with a fork to cook thoroughly.

3. Add the chilies, raisins, olives, chopped eggs, salt, pepper and sugar.

4. Make a rather firm pastry with all the ingredients.
|
5. Knead it well and leave to rest for a little while, wrapped in a floured cloth.
|
6. Roll out thinly, fold in two, re-roll and cut into rounds with a pastry cutter.
|
7. Put about 1 tablespoon filling in each round and fold over as for Cornish pasties.
|
8. Fry in very hot cooking oil.
