What You Need: |

1 medium-sized onion, minced
1 tablespoon molasses
2 oz maple syrup
4 strips of bacon, diced
˝ teaspoon dry mustard
2 large tins baked beans (with pork)

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Saute the onion in the bacon fat until it is yellow and the bacon crisp.
|
2. Stir in the remaining ingredients, and pour into a greased 1˝-quart casserole.
|
3. Bake uncovered in a moderate oven (350°F) until the beans are brown and bubbly-about 45 minutes.
|
4. Serve hot.
