1. Melt the syrup, margarine and sugar together, remove from the heat, stir in the flour gradually and mix well together.

2. Drop the mixture on to a baking sheet in teaspoonful, giving it plenty of room to run.
|
3. Bake in a moderately hot oven (375°F) for 7-10 minutes, until brown and well-spread.
|
4. Take off with a knife when beginning to get crisp, and roll up.
|
5. Brandy snaps are especially good if they are filled with cream.
