Colcannon
What You Need:
  • Potato
  • Cabbage
  • Butter
  • Cheese
  • Seasoning

  • How To Cook:
    1. Take equal quantities of boiled potatoes and boiled cabbage.

    2. Mash the potatoes and mince the cabbage.

    3. Melt a piece of butter or dripping in a saucepan, allowing about 1 oz. to 1 pound vegetables, add the potatoes and cabbage, season and mix well.

    4. Heat thoroughly and serve at once.

    5. The mixture may be turned into a greased pie dish, sprinkled with grated cheese, dotted with butter or margarine, and browned in a hot oven.
