Hereford Cider Sauce
What You Need:
  • ¾ pint thick brown sauce
  • 1 pint cider
  • 2 cloves
  • Bay leaf
  • Seasoning

  • How To Cook:
    1. Make ¾ pint thick brown sauce.

    2. Add cider, cloves and a bay leaf; season, and mix well.

    3. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced by about one-third; then strain.

    4. Serve with boiled bacon or ham.
