Mackerel With Gooseberry Sauce
What You Need:
  • Mackerel
  • Bouquet garni
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Parsley
  • Salted water

  • How To Cook:
    1. Allow one freshly caught mackerel per person.

    2. Clean the fish and poach gently in salted water, with a bouquet garni and white vinegar, until tender about 15 - 20 minutes.

    3. Lift carefully on to a hot serving dish and garnish with sprigs of parsley.

    4. Serve the Gooseberry Sauce separately.
