What You Need: |

|
¼ pint water
1 glass claret, burgundy or other red wine
3 teaspoons sugar
3 cloves
A small stick of cinnamon
1 egg (optional)

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put the water, sugar and spices into a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
|
2. Add the wine and bring just to the boil.
|
3. Beat the egg and pour the hot mixture on to it, stirring well.
|
|
