Turnip Purry
What You Need:
  • Turnips
  • Water
  • Salt and pepper
  • Butter

  • How To Cook:
    1. Peel some young turnips carefully, boil in salted water till quite tender, rub through a sieve, or mash with a wooden spoon through a colander.

    2. Put in a saucepan, season with salt and pepper and add .a lump of butter; stir and when hot and quite smooth, put the puree in a hot dish and mark in diamond shapes.
