1. Rub the salad bowl with garlic; peel the cucumbers and slice them very finely, sprinkle them with salt, and set aside for about 10 minutes, then drain well.

2. Mix the lemon juice with the sour cream and sugar.

3. Pour the mixture over the cucumbers and serve with fish or meat.

4. Add a dash of pepper to taste.
