How To Cook: |

1. Grease and flour an 8-inch square tin.
|
2. Add the sugar to the melted butter and whip until the mixture is light and fluffy.
|
3. Beat in the eggs a little at a time and mix in the nuts, flavorings and cream.
|
4. Sieve together the baking powder and flour and stir into the cake mixture.
|
5. Bake for 1 hour in a moderate oven (350°F).

NOTE:

This cake is similar to gingerbread.
