How To Cook: |

1. Wash and clean the berries, put them into a preserving pan with the water, and boil until absolutely soft.
|
2. Strain through a muslin bag into a basin.
|
3. To each pint of juice add ¾ pound sugar, boil for 10 minutes, skim well, fill into warm dry bottles, cork, and seal with white wax.
|
4. Use to make jellies to serve as a sweet or with game, or serve the juice mixed with water, as a refreshing drink.
