How To Cook: |

1. Wash and dry beefsteak, flatten it and season with salt and pepper.

2. Melt dripping in a saucepan and brown the steak on both sides.
|
3. Add sliced onions, bay leaves, some grated nutmeg and a little water, cover the pan and cook for 1˝ hours, adding a little more water occasionally.
|
4. Serve with grilled or baked tomatoes.
