How To Cook: |

1. Clean some chicken giblets in the usual way and put in a saucepan with sufficient water to cover and a little salt
|
2. Bring gradually to the boil, skim and simmer for ˝ hour.
|
3. Add sliced carrots, celery, leek, sliced apples and soaked prunes.
|
4. Continue to cook until all the ingredients are tender, and then add a little sugar and vinegar to taste.
|
5. Serve with dumplings.
