¾ cup packaged dried breadcrumbs
2 tins tart red-stoned cherries, well drained
¾ cup ground almonds
½ teaspoon almond essence
1 cup granulated sugar
Red coloring

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Combine breadcrumbs, almonds and sugar; sprinkle over the half, of crisp strudel dough nearest you.
|
2. Toss cherries with almond essence and enough red color to brighten cherries; spoon them over crumb mixture.
|
3. Proceed with rolling up strudel.
