Chocolate Cake
(Chokladkaka)
What You Need:
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pound flour
  • ½ pound sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 5 oz butter
  • ½ pint whipped cream
  • ¼ pint cream
  • 2 oz chopped walnuts
  • 6 tablespoons chocolate powder or cocoa
  • A few whole walnuts for decoration

  • How To Cook:
    1. Whisk the eggs and sugar well together, and add the melted butter, cream and chocolate powder.

    2. Fold in the flour sieved with the baking powder.

    3. Put into an 8-inch round cake tin which has been brushed with melted butter and dredged with flour and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for ¾ - 1 hour, until the cake feels firm.

    4. Cool and cut in half.

    5. Sandwich together with whipped cream mixed with chopped walnuts and covers the whole cake with cream, and then decorate with whole walnuts.
