Finnish Fingers

What You Need: |

|
10 oz flour
2 oz ground almonds
2 oz sugar
8 oz butter
Egg white, coarse sugar and chopped almonds to coat biscuits

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put the flour, ground almonds and sugar into a bowl, work in the butter with the fingers and knead to a smooth paste.
|
2. Roll into small fingers, dip in beaten egg white and coat with sugar and almonds.
|
3. Place on a buttered baking sheet and bake in a moderately hot oven (400°F) until they are lightly browned and firm.
