What You Need: |

˝ cup sugar
2 egg whites
3 egg yolks
2 cups honey, heated, skimmed and cooled
1 cup ground walnuts
2 cups flour
Cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to taste
1 tablespoon baking powder

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Cream the sugar and egg yolks until light in color.
|
2. Add nuts and sift in the flour and baking powder.
|
3. Add the stiffly beaten egg whites and honey.
|
4. Add spices to taste, mix thoroughly, and bake in a very slow oven (250°F) in a greased mould lined with breadcrumbs, for about 1 hour.
