How To Cook: |

1. Peel the pears, cut in halves and core.
|
2. Simmer in water to cover until tender but not mushy.
|
3. Drain and let dry while heating honey.
|
4. Combine the fruit and honey and let it stand in a cool place for 2 days.
|
5. Then simmer in a flat pan until honey thickens to a glaze.
|
6. Allow to cool enough to handle and roll in sugar.
|
7. Spread on buttered baking sheet and dry out in a slow oven (325°F).
