1. Remove bones, slice meat, pound lightly, add salt and pepper, and fry in hot fat until both sides are brown.

2. Put chops in a saucepan, add sliced onions, diced vegetables and grated lemon peel.
|
3. Add water and stew covered until tender.
|
4. Before serving, thicken with butter creamed with flour, bring to the boil and flavor with lemon juice.
|
5. Serve with potatoes or macaroni.
